چکیده

This study aims to determine the effect of various types mulch on growth and yield cauliflower varieties PM 126 F1. To effectiveness mulches compared MPHP research was conducted in experimental field Faculty Agriculture, Samudra University, Langsa City, Aceh Province with an altitude ± 10 meters above sea level. from January March 2022. structured using a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK). The factors observed were several mulch, consisting 13 1 variety F1 which repeated 3 times. Parameters included plant height, number leaves, weight stover, flower diameter, flowers production per hectare. results showed that type treatment significantly affected parameters height at 20 HST, leaves aged HST wet stover harvest. However, it did not affect diameter hectare best obtained by M6 (empty palm oil bunches), M1 (MPHP), but equally good M10 (broken bricks) M11 (used cloth). cultivate plants is recommended use empty bunches, MPHP, broken bricks or used cloth

Chemically Induced Mutants of Brassica oleracea var. botrytis Maintained Stable

9 Investigation was made to confirm the stability of drought and salt stress tolerance in 10 cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var.botrytis) mutants after regeneration and micropropagation. 11 The N-nitroso-N-ethyleurea (NEU) and N-nitroso-N-methylurea (NMU) induced mutants of 12 cauliflower were created and screened for drought and salt stress tolerance. The highly 13 tolerant mutants were select...

Persistence of Indoxacarb on Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis. L.) and Its Risk Assessment

A rapid, simple and an efficient method for the determination of indoxacarb in cauliflower and soil samples was developed and validated using QuEChERS technique (Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged and Safe). Recoveries at four different spiking concentrations of 0.01, 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 mg·kg ranged from 87% to 96% were achieved with good repeatability and RSD of 1% 6%. The average initial de...

Serine Transhydroxymethylase of Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.): Partial Purification and Properties.

Serine transhydroxymethylase (EC 2.1.2.1) has been purified 46-fold from cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.). The enzyme was completely dependent on the presence of tetrahydrofolic acid for the conversion of serine to glycine. The addition of pyridoxal phosphate gave a large increase in the reaction rate. A double pH optimum was observed with maxima at 7.5 and 9.5. The enzyme is sp...

The role of BoFLC2 in cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.) reproductive development

In agricultural species that are sexually propagated or whose marketable organ is a reproductive structure, management of the flowering process is critical. Inflorescence development in cauliflower is particularly complex, presenting unique challenges for those seeking to predict and manage flowering time. In this study, an integrated physiological and molecular approach was used to clarify the...

Chromosome Doubling of Microspore-Derived Plants from Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.) and Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica L.)

Chromosome doubling of microspore-derived plants is an important factor in the practical application of microspore culture technology because breeding programs require a large number of genetically stable, homozygous doubled haploid plants with a high level of fertility. In the present paper, 29 populations of microspore-derived plantlets from cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) and brocc...
